| Retail store eligibility & inclusion criteria:
Retail store locations that have RVM redemption technology capable of providing UPC detail on all containers serviced by the program for downloading into the pickup agents accounting and information system.
Retail store locations that redeem over 750,000 containers annually and are located within 100 miles of the Howell or Grand Rapids processing facility.
Retail store locations that provide dock or receiving door access during scheduled pickup windows.
Retail stores that provide a dedicated modem line (or make arrangements for weekly electronic transfer of necessary data) to the accounting system.
Retail store locations that meet Gaylord fill utilization requirements (95% aluminum, 90% PET and 90& glass) and provide stacking* and staging cooperation to allow prompt removal from the store.
Signed acceptance and training of the procedures outlined in this guide.
Retailer agrees that should UBCR, L.L.C. be unable to provide the services for a period greater than 7days by reason of Force Majeure, the retailer shall provide empty beverage containers for redemption to a Distributor in the same manner used prior to the third party services being offered to the retailer. That is:
Aluminum containers - in plastic bags containing 720 containers
PET container - in plastic bags containing 160 containers
Glass containers - in mother cartons of the kind, size and brand as were sold to the Retailer when the containers were full.
Retailer shall allow employees, agents, or subcontractors of MBWWA, inc. or Michigan Soft Drink Association Service Corporation to audit RVMs found at the retail locations participating in this program.
*Stores which do not have Gaylord handling capabilities may purchase equipment independently or may purchase a specially engineered device from the pickup agent.
